There is no freedom and especially education in India. in US even if you are a 60 year old you can join a university but in India things are different
What do you mean? My father was an engineer and he started his Bachelor of law at age 58 in 1996 in India, after retirement. regular college, which only 10% pass out off.
Again never compare Canada with India, India is Unique and I am not putting my Motherland on Trash, You are in a way doing that, by comparing it with Canada and USA.

How did you get the LIN number for this case?
Hm.. I was thinking that these are random #'s that I had typed in earlier and which IE had saved in the form box. But now I think about it, I believe i got these numbers from this forum on some thread long time back.. Don't know which one, I have edited the post now to mask the LIN #.

You can skip skin test and just straight away get a Xray done.
Also if its not possible to come here before Aug 15th ,then it will be very useful if she carries her titre's of all the required immunisations from an uscis certified physician in India and shows it to the civil surgeon here. Talk to the civil surgeon in person here and check with him if he will be willing to accept lab results from India .

It is easy to visualize a scenario where an activist Latino american citizen, probably acting under guidance by La Raza, purposefully fails to establish his identity and gets arrested. Imagine the media circus once the news outlets find out that an American citizen was detained due to this law.

I tried to book tickets on makemytrip for luftansa yesterday; After going through all passport details etc- for over 2 hours checking etc the agent coolly told me that transit visa is required for advance parole holders. If you carefully see the regulations they mention "2 Years" permit not "1 year" validity of Advance parole. I also heard stories of multiple people blocked from boarding luftansa on advance parole. So i switched and booked on emirates instead. Apparently this rule is either enforced or not depends on the discretion of luftansa personel. So be carefull if you are on advance parole- Looks like germans also trying to get on the Visa Fee pie.

Nevertheless, I did not take transit visa, and with visa stamping expired in March 2010, I travelled with AP on Lufthansa from IAD to BLR in December, and returned in Jan 2011, and nobody even mentioned the word "transit" anywhere along the route. Lufthansa staff is very knowledgeable about AP, both in Wash.Dulles and BLR. In fact, In BLR I saw that even Air France also does not require transit visa for Paris and allowed people with AP to board without transit visa. So folks, dont waste time and money on transit visa. Nothing is going to happen , unless you miss your connecting flight in Frankfurt, in which case you will not get to stay in a hotel and would have to spend the transit time in the airport.

I am very surprised about the requests for cheap photos !!! What a pity.
We were ready to spend thousands of dollars just a month ago just to have the ability to apply for I485, but when you get a chance , try to save a few dollars and risk an RFE , delay in processing or even denial.
Walmart photos suck , so are CVS photos. I had them take my pictures in the past. Never used the walmart ones and CVS photos got rejected for visa revalidation. They used Polaroid camera at walmat and they were not good at all.
I took them at Macy's studio , costed me about $30 for 6 copies but they are great. Please choose a professional studio, $20 extra dollars are worth every penny.
Some one mentioned about saving $20 and have a dinner. I would rather have peace of mind knowing my pictures are good enough for USCIS than have a $20 dinner.
Just my 2 cents though. May be I am extra cautious because I got burned once :)

I did post about this. We have seen professor's expert opinion letters showing the equivalency to the MA being approved. However, the evidence does point to an equivalency to a BA.

You also mentioned in one of the post that you have had 100% success rate equating CA to MS. Now, evidence is pointing to the contrary, I am not sure about the effect on these approved I-140 petitions.

I filed my 485 in June 2007 in Nebraska and yesterday my LUD changed but there was no message. This is the first change in my LUD since my finger printing in July 2007. I am EB3-I with PD of Dec 2002. Not sure what got updated. Any ideas???
I've got LUD on mine and my wife's 485 on 02/10/2009. So far I got nothing, RFE or finger prints. My previous LUD on 11/26/2007.
Also, I applied for AP and I had LUD on 02/09. So I wasnt sure if they just checking for 485 before approving my AP>

It seems that i can file tax using form 4852....but to do if he send legal notice claiming that i have made losses to him worth 25 K....i had good relation with client , gave app notice and also have refe letter from client (received award form client)..........so there shud be no point for liquidation thing and also i have all previous employers emails acepting my receignation and notice period...
If your employer paid taxes on behalf of you , he must have recieved w2.If he doesn't give w2 to you , you can call IRS and request for one , they'll fax/mail it to you.I did it once and filed taxes.
He may be threatening you about legal notice, but I don't think he'll send notice.You can think what to do when recieve a notice.
