Sometime back I commented on visa bulletin predicitions (whatever predictions remain popular) and got nasty comments and too many reds. I think some people get pissed off by the prospects of VB

using a flash is ok, just be careful if you wear glasses (you might need some retakes before you get it right). and turn on red eye removal. 3.2 mp for the size (2x2) of picture is good enough.. Even 1 mp is good enough if you are zooming in to take pictures. but if you are cropping a 1 mp picture to take out surroundings, its better to use 2mp plus camera.

You are absolutely right. I participated in IV's advocacy effort in Washington last year. But I regret that I could not do the same this year.
No IV provision is in the bill.
For something to happen, each member needs to do their part by supporting this effort and taking part in action items. With so little support and initiative we cannot expect to match the kind of hard work DREAM act advocates have done.
If we need an amendment, we should be showing up for advocacy day or signing up for monthly contributions, volunteer our time, or doing any state chapter work by meeting local lawmaker offices regularly in groups. Dream Act folks have built a very strong network and advocacy effort that no politician can ignore. Go through the list of things they have been doing over the past few years and you can judge how much percentage we have as a community matched that effort. This is a reality and and ultimately it will be us that are responsible for no bill being passed in the last few years.
The community needs to do more than wasting time on the forums and trackers if they really want any bill to happen.

You and I have identical PDs.
Maybe you should get all that have similar PDs as you to do some campaign on IV. Tracking will not get a GC any faster. I believe time can be better spent by doing something together.

Sorry there was a typo in the application mailed in date it is 8/7/2007 and notice date is 9/26/2007.
as per the info u provided u'r...... mail dt is 8/17/07 & receipt dt is 9/26/07...... did u'r application reach cis after july visa bulletin..... if yes, then it appears that with u'r april-06 dt. the priority dt was not current when they received u'r app .... is that a possibility.....

What has happened here is extremely unfortunate. What I would recommend is that you file a new PERM application. You could appeal the decision, but considering the complications of your course work and degree, it would be an uphill fight. In your appeal, I dont believe that the case would have much merit if it fought purely on the basis of your attorney saying that "he marked the incorrect box".

Thanks for your post. It does look like EB2 India and EB3 Other Workers will remain where they are. The point to be noted is that EB3 India was not commented upon i.e. EB3 Other Workers is different from EB3 India or EB3 ROW. I don't want to commit the deadly sin of predicting but there is hope that EB3 India might move albeit slowly :p

easyvishwak, there is a common disclaimer in any of the internet forums that you take the information with a pinch of salt. people post their experiences, whether to follow or not is totally your call. Next time, I wont be so polite when writing my response because you mentioned some unnecessary things in your response to my post.
