Goodness!! These entries are awesome, I envy you guys. It was hard to decide, but it came down to eilsoe's and soul's. I ended up voting for Soul's because I liked the colors he used and the amount of detail put in. Eilsoe's piece is detailed as well, but the colors weren't too appealing. Great job everyone. =)

Sats123, Chanduv23 is correct, also reading that with the paystubs you can avoid the employer letter saying that you work in such position and for such salary, finding out what position they used to file your labor (did you find it in the database on my previous post) and considering that you are about to get ripped off, it would be advisable that you go through that lawyer that someone was saying charges 1000 to file your papers and 500 for your spouse;

A freind of mine came across a gentleman, who is here on work visa and he is facing a unique problem. He is married to two persons and wants to bring his whole family here in the USA. He was looking for answer if he can get both his spouses and kids here on H4 visas. Currently both of them and his kids are in India. Interesting hmmm :D

After a long long 7 years I finally received my Green Card y'day.
If not anything... this process does forcefully teach patience, hope, anger mgnt & gives a new understanding of terms UNFAIR & UNJUST.
My app did experience all the delays ..Backlog centers, company change, date portability, NameCheck..
For expediting Namecheck & Serv. ticket I had written/fax/calls to almost everyone in govt. White House, First Lady, DHS Dir, TSC Dir, USCIS Dir, Senator...
Not sure if anything worked, but finally 180 day rule might have helped.
Finally ...it's a great sense of relief.
I was desperately needing it now as I wanted MBA loan & change of field etc.
Special thanks to pappu,logiclife,berkeleybee,Googler ...you guys are the lighthouses in this long tempest.
It's amazing that someone whom you don't know & have never met, inspire & guide so many others.

Are you sure he is not going to mess up ur case because u filed using a different law firm against his wishes.
You only can answer the above question. If u think there is a possibilty that he will mess it up, Dont go with a different law firm.
Talk to him and see what he needs.
I do have copy of labor approval but I donot have copy of job description that they filed for labor. I also have copy of 140 approval.
I don't think I can get letters from HR (there are couple of people who handles everything from getting timesheets to posting payslips) as they very loyal to my employer.
Then I guess my only options are

- forget about $5000 and proceed.

If you are replaceable then you have false claimed in your application that no American is available for your job. It defeats your H1B and Green card application. America invites H1Bs and gives them greencards not because they are paying taxes but because employers prove no american is available for our job and we have unique skills for job. Ok, I've seen a lot of threads about go to the rally, actions items, I've reading a lot of guys saying dont ask for your receipt status, dont waste your time etc, etc.
Yes we did the rally we were great with all those signs, and appearing in the Indy TV but...
Question remains open:
1. When are they going to increase the GC quota?
2. When congress id going to do something?
I've the feeling that that's it we made our point but we are still with no GC, waiting receipts..............
Q. So. What is the result after the Rally?

YOu can surrender your GC letting know the USCICS that, it got approved when the PD was not current. I had read this on murthy.com. Browse the website to learn more about it or contact murthy.com attorney's.
How am I so sure...?? Even I am one amoung them praying for 485 not getting approved untill I get married. My PD is 2006, so I guess I don't have to worry too much.

I apologize. I did not left the default on many of the points. I have changed them now. The questions don't allow for people who are not applying for anything. I did not mean to solicit business. Some of my clients have asked me to post here and clear up some issues. I get 90% of my business from attorneys and employers, not from chat boards.
We have never taken more than authorized on the card. The form is automated and submitted by the client. We never even see the card #. If anyone has a problem with double submissions (if they hit submit twice) we always credit back.

You can advertise your thing by paying IV, not by these cheap method of interfering here. I know many friend burn their hands.
