Hi All,
I think the reason that we do not have many members is that many people go to the website immigration voice and as the access is avaliable to read all posts without a log in and password they read and never want to become a member.
do u think this can be one of the reasons.
i am not sure just a thought.

I have mixed opinion about that. Say, hypothetically she attends rally, then everyone is going to think that she is biased towards legal immigrants.
It would be better if people looks at her as a non biased person, her word is more powerful that way.
Its just my opinion.

Are you kidding. Kennedy is nothing like Lofgren. He only cares about illegals and thinks that legals have no issues at all. Once the illegals are out of the equation, he couldn't care less about what happens to legals.
I can bet my money that he most likely doesn't even know about this visa bulletin fiasco and wouldn't care even if he did knew.
Where is famously liberal "lion" Kennedy in all this. He is the counterpart to Lofgren. When you are the chair of the subcommitte on Immigration you are supposed to be a leader on these kind of issues. Really disappointing.

First of all...Hats off to IV for doing an incredible job !!!
My labor has been collecting dust in the Dallas BEC since 2001, my PD is Nov 2001, non-RIR. The online system still states that my case is in process. I am equally frustrated like all my fellow BEC victims, but I think there is no reason to feel left out or unhappy just because some people could jump the queue and get in front of us. The best we can do is congratulate them on their good fortune and hope that the DOL sticks to their deadline and clear all BEC cases by sep. If they miss the sep deadline (i wont be surprised if they do), I guess IV can help us in organising another flower campaign or a rally based on the recent success.
Lets keep the faith and stay the course !!!

I have failed to see where IV has been showing discrimination or bias towards Eb2 versus Eb3?
Not taking up a specific Eb-3 cause does not tantamount of neglecting Eb-3. Has IV done something in past 'proactively' for only a certain category of Eb? If not, then how can we accuse IV of ditching Eb3, at the same time?

Any ways, I have heard what you said from different people and if dates can become current, they can be retrogressed during the middle of the month. Imagine 40K applications in 10 days. If USCIS accepts 100K applications ( It can be if you count dependents ), it makes them look bad with the number of pending applications. They can very well say Enough, when they hit a predetermined threshold as conveyed by DOS.
All that we can do is try to file as soon as we can.

Why eb2 were processed with 7K cases worldwide and only 700 for eb3 worldwide?
If 42600 / 4 = 10650 cases can be processed per quarter in eb3 , why only 700 were processed?

Been here since 2001, but my company wouldn't let me file labor until December 2004.

wow that's a long wait to file your labor. Well in any event you got your GC and i wish you could have gotten it sooner since IMO you should have filed your labor much sooner. Good luck in all that you have planned on doing.

Agreed, It is very unfortunate for people stuck in backlogs and I feel your pain... But would you rather have seen USCIS waste over 40000 visas by the end of the year without any PD movement (as reported by some on this forum)? We would have had another thread here blasting the inefficiency and unfairness of USCIS.
Bottomline, I would not like to work in USCIS right now.. They are basically damned if they do, damned if they dont. That said, I do hope that BECs get their act together like USCIS is trying to and get everyones labor cleared by the deadline before the next retrogression hits.

Yup. The doctor will give you a report with a note in a sealed envelope and you can submit that document when you apply for your 485.
For me, the physician took 3 days for the report. It depends on the physician I guess, but usually it will not take more than a week to get the report.
