Hi Pps123,
Did you change the job? They sent the REF letter to you or your attorney? I raised SR on May 6th, and received an email on May13th saying that a RFE letter was sent out. Anxious to know what the RFE is.

I read that there are 2800 EB3-I visas a year, or about 233 visas per month. Assuming there are about 700 numbers available for the rest of the year 2010, using the data in the latest May-2010 I485 inventory, the calculation is pretty straight n easy with no spillover calculations involved ... here is a possible progress of the PD:
Sep-2010 : 10-Dec-2001
Sep-2011 : 31-May-2002
Sep-2012 : 15-Sep-2002
Sep-2013 : 01-Jan-2003
Sep-2014 : 01-Apr-2003
From there on the numbers are huge per month - about thousand pending 485 per month ... it'll continue at less than snail pace :D

Yeah, but the 5th item being demanded is the same as a free trip to the moon with out any flight training. In a logical and sensible world it will not work and will make this forum and organization look like one having no motive or direction with every demand being considered viable, just beacuse it "sounds like a great idea" to a few folks.

It depends on the service you choose, I think they have an option for expedited service and you can get the document within couple of days. They also provide you the pdf format of the document, you can print that document and submit immediately instead of waiting for the postal document.

My wife's status changed from H4 TO H1. Recently when she went to apply for her SSN, the officer there took her original approved H1 along with I-94 and never returned it to her. She assumed that they would need the originals . I didn't know about this since I live about 200 mi away from her.
We will contact them on Monday but in the worst case scenario, if they have lost it. Do I need to apply for a new I-94 or a copy will suffice.
Any hope??

You will need the original while going out of the country. For other stuff, usually they only need a copy.
